What you will be doing as a Delivery Operations Engineer?


As the Delivery Operations Engineer, you will join our team and assist in the installation, configuration, integration, and testing of new and upgraded customer solutions within a continuous software delivery process and automated test environment. Your main objective will be to surpass customer expectations in solving incidents and problems, while proactively supporting our global customers. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the resolution of customer incidents and problems within SLA. You will also be responsible for delivering projects from start-up to completion, on time and within budget, with minimal supervision.



Responsible for:


  • As the Delivery Operations Engineer, you will be installing, configuring, integrating, and testing new/ upgraded customer solutions within a continuous software delivery process and automated test environment.

  • And you will ensure that resolution for customer incidents and problems is always achieved within SLA.

  • You will be Delivering projects from startup to completion, on time and to budget with minimum supervision.

  • Also as Delivery Operations Engineer, you will be proactive, customer-focused, and be aware of project milestones and timelines in order to mitigate any potential risks.

  • You will become a technical lead in an area of DevOps or telecoms protocols and maintain the number of total open tickets within target levels.



Requirements:


  • You should have Linux user experience, networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, SSH tunneling, VPN), and advantageously a knowledge of telecommunication protocols (e.g., SMPP, SS7), messaging technologies, or other real-time service delivery in the telecoms space. 

  • You should have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, as this is essential for this role.

  • We are looking for a self-starter who is customer-focused and aware of project milestones and timelines to mitigate potential risks. You should be able to work proactively to deliver projects from start-up to completion, on time and within budget, with minimal supervision.

  • You are a passionate and positive person, who loves to take accountability and pride in your work.

  • Customer focus and ability to work cross-functionally in a strong team environment are areas of strength for you and you are continuously looking to develop yourself
